Hi! We are LEAFY, your local microgreens grower.

Our vertical farm is a small direct-to-community farm that offers free home deliveries or click and collect in Edinburgh. We can also supply wholesale locally.

We grow nutrient-dense beautiful edible microgreens, micro herbs and micro shoots. Our regular crops are purple radish, broccoli raab, and pea and sunflower shoots. We sell all these separately or together in our Leafy Micromix Pack. We also grow seasonal specials to add to your mix like mizuna, Tuscan kale, rocket, coriander and basil. Our crops are grown especially for each customer, whether you want just a one-off purchase or a weekly subscription. We sometimes have surplus for immediate delivery.

How we grow: The farm uses recyclable peat-free compost, coconut coir, minimal water and renewable energy. We do not use chemical fertiliser. All our packaging is made from recycled plastic & can be recycled again after use. Our grower Susie Kemp takes care of your crop from seed to delivery.

Microgreens are the earliest stage of a vegetable plant’s development after the sprouting stage. They are “living foods” – purposefully used in their most nutritious and delicious state.

If we have surplus crops we may be able to deliver right away. Our usual process though is that we sow seeds especially for your order and then arrange a delivery date. Crops are currently taking around 12-15 days from sowing to delivery. If you want to try first we can provide a free sample!
